July 2020 Newsletter

Hey Inspirations!

I hope everyone had a safe & happy 4th of July! We're about a month into summer and it's that time of year where we start thinking about going back to school! Things may not be the same as usual but one thing that is constant is the requirement for all children entering Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 6th grade and 9th grade to have their visit with us prior to the beginning of the school year to get their school form filled out. Now is the best time to call and make an appointment for them and your entire family since our openings are filling (no pun intended) up fast!

As I mentioned in previous newsletters, we are constantly investing in new technology at Inspire Dental Wellness and I've been covering a new piece of technology that was incorporated into the office in each newsletter. In today's segment below, I'll discuss how our BioJVA helps treat my TemporoMandibular Disorder (TMD) patients a.k.a "TMJ" patients.

I look forward to seeing everyone soon!

-Dr. Erica

Featured Technology

BioJVA
At Inspire Dental Wellness we treat patients with TemporMandibular Disorders (TMD) and the BioJVA is a tool we use to help accurately diagnose any TMD/TMJ issues.  JVA stands for Joint Vibration Analysis and much like how we use x-rays as a tool to see what may be going on inside the tooth, the BioJVA allows us to measure the health of the jaw joint.  The analysis is based on the simple principles of motion and friction, when smooth surfaces rub together there is little vibration and friction but if there is more vibration and friction then this may be a sign of a problem with the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ).  You wear this tool similar to how you would wear headphones but they are placed on your jaw joints.  Next time you're in office and you're wondering what the health of your jaw joints are just let us know and we can test you in as little as 5 minutes.

Monthly Frenchie

IDW's French Bulldog Mascots

Did this segment title make you take a double take? Are you seeing two French Bulldogs above?  The young Frenchie isn't Mini as a puppy, it's Mini's new French Bulldog Brother! We're bringing home this adorable little pup on July 18th and we can't wait for you to meet him (after housebreaking of course). He was born on May 13th if you want to pencil that in for a birthday treat next year 😉. BUT we still don't have a name for him!  Reply back to this e-mail with some suggestions or better yet head to our Facebook post - https://www.facebook.com/InspireDentalWellness/posts/743040803108421 - and let your suggestion be known there!!
Thank you all for reading our newsletter, we look forward to seeing you soon!
